Hainan port imported copper concentrate products for the first time

Recently, two containers loaded with 46 tons of copper concentrate successfully arrived at Hainan Yangpu International Container Terminal by Nanairlines 777 cargo ship, Haikou Customs Office of Yangpu Customs officers for the first time on-site inspection, and to carry out solid waste investigation, sampling and inspection. It is reported that this is the first import of copper concentrate products at Hainan port.

"Our company plans to import a batch of secondary copper concentrate for Zijin Mining's global copper concentrate distribution center project trial production commissioning, because this is the first import, I hope the customs can provide guidance." The person in charge of Zijin Jinhai Logistics (Hainan) Co., Ltd. made appeals on the "Commissioner Reception Day" organized by the Yangpu Customs.

It is understood that Zijin Mining's global copper concentrate distribution center project is located in Bazhaogang District, Dongfang City, Hainan Province, and Zijin Jinhai Logistics (Hainan) Co., Ltd. is responsible for the construction and operation. The completion of the project fills the gap in Hainan's copper concentrate industry and will greatly enhance China's copper concentrate blending capacity and enhance China's influence in the global copper market.

In order to ensure the smooth import of copper concentrate, Yangpu Customs jointly with the eight customs actively responded to the demands of enterprises, set up a special working class, conducted in-depth enterprise research in advance, collected the import needs and plans of enterprises, and guided enterprises to do a good job in preparation for imports. They strengthened the source risk control, organized the declaration, inspection, detection, storage, disposal and other whole chain of supervision and clearance process testing, docking testing laboratories in advance, the first time for sample transfer, to ensure that the first ticket of imported copper concentrate rapid clearance.

In the next step, Haikou Customs will take intelligent supervision as the starting point, continue to optimize the inspection and supervision mode of imported mineral products, improve the efficiency of port inspection and release, and fully ensure the safety and stability of the industrial chain and supply chain.
