In Haikou, 22 major projects were started

On August 30, the opening ceremony of the third batch of major projects in Haikou City 2024 was held. On the same day, a total of 22 projects were started, covering urban renewal, industrial development, infrastructure, public services and other fields, including Qiongshan District Boya Area (Phase II) urban renewal project, Meihua Airlines (Hainan) Smart Industry Park construction project, Fengkaisi pharmaceutical preparation research and development production and manufacturing center project, with a total investment of 15.239 billion yuan. Among them, four urban renewal projects with a total investment of 9.539 billion yuan are aimed at further improving the quality of urban functions, improving the living environment, and enhancing people's well-being.

The drawings of the urban renewal project of Qiongshan District Boya Area (Phase II), which is concentrated on the construction site, clearly mark the basic supporting facilities such as public green space, shopping malls and boutique shopping streets. Public service facilities such as cultural activity stations, day care centers for the elderly, and community health service stations will also further enrich the functions of the district.

"The total construction area of the project is about 310,000 square meters. On the basis of the first phase, we will further improve the product quality and community support, and create a waterfront ecological livable community where water and city interact." Project contractor China Railway Construction Group (Haikou) Real Estate Co., LTD., the relevant person in charge said that after the completion of the project will greatly improve the living environment and living conditions of residents in the area, while improving the landscape style along the river.

Haikou City around Haidian Island shoreline through the project started on the same day, its total length of 8.8 kilometers. The main contents of its construction include three intersections of walking way, running way and riding way. They have added service facilities, buildings, equipment and parking lots, which will meet the requirements of residents' living and leisure tourism. Haikou Meilan District Investment and Construction Investment Co., LTD., the relevant person in charge of the project aims to further open the ecological blocking point, connect the break point, improve the water quality of the coastal sea, and enrich the commercial mode by activating idle resources, effectively improve the level of tourism and cultural services, create a public space that can travel and entertain, meet the needs of citizens and tourists, and continue to improve the city's quality.
