More than 3,000 films have been selected for the Hainan International Film Festival

On August 28, the reporter learned from the organizing committee of the 6th Hainan International Film Festival that up to now, the film festival has received a total of 3009 self-registered films from 109 countries and regions.

It is reported that the competition unit of this year's film festival "Golden Coconut Award" has three categories: story feature film, documentary feature film and short film. A jury composed of domestic and foreign film professionals selected 10 awards in various categories: Best Film, Jury Award, Best Director Award, Best Actor Award, Best Actress Award, Best Screenplay Award, Best Visual Effects Award, Best Chinese Contribution Award, Best Documentary Award and Best Short Film Award.
