On October 22, the opening ceremony of the Hainan Provincial Cultural Center (Hainan Provincial Institute of Arts, Hainan Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center) was held. On the same day, the logo of Hainan Provincial Cultural Center and the logo of Hainan Provincial Cultural Center were officially released.

On January 23, 2024, with the approval of the Institutional Establishment Committee of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, the Hainan Mass Art Museum was officially renamed the Hainan Provincial Cultural Museum, moved to the new site of the Provincial intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Center on August 30, and the Provincial intangible cultural Heritage Exhibition Center began trial operation on September 30. After 10 months of preparation, the Hainan Provincial Cultural Center (Hainan Provincial Institute of Arts, Hainan Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center) was officially inaugurated, which is not only an important measure to implement the central government's spirit of deepening the reform of public institutions, but also a new starting point to promote the high-quality development of public cultural undertakings in Hainan.
