More than 500 enterprises in our province will participate in the Agarwood Huali International Conference

Hosted by Hainan Daily Newspaper Group and China Collectors Association, and co-hosted by the National Innovation Alliance of Agarwood Industry of the State Forestry and Grass Administration and Hainan Folk Literature and Art Association, the 2024 Agarwood Huali International Conference will be held in Haikou, Hainan from November 29 to December 1. Since the conference started investment work, our province's main Agarwood Huali culture, industry and other business associations actively organized our province's enterprises to participate in the exhibition.

Hainan Agarwood Association, Hainan Agarwood Industry Federation, Sanya Agarwood Association, Hainan National Incense Culture Research Center, Hainan Branch of the Institute of Medicinal Plants, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Tongchang Agarwood Industry Association and other industry associations and scientific research institutions will attend the conference, bringing new products, new formats and new research results to the audience.

"High-quality agarwood industry chain enterprises in the province will be present, and we have also hired industry experts to share their views and provide new ideas for the development of the industry." Xu Jing, Secretary general of Hainan Aloes Association, introduced that Hainan aloes benefit from the unique natural environment, and its unique aroma has formed a brand effect in the domestic and international markets. Hainan Agarwood Geographical indication certification trademark was approved by the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office in 2022, which is the second geographical indication certification trademark named after the provincial place name in the country. At present, there are only three province-level geographical indication certification trademarks. The association will take this meeting as an opportunity to help enterprises use geographical indications to prove trademarks and further enhance the brand effect of Hainan Agarwood.

During the conference, the Organizing committee of the conference and Hainan Agarwood Association will co-host the supply and marketing cooperation event of 2024 Agarwood Huali International Conference. The theme of the conference deeply focuses on the improvement of the quality and efficiency of the agarwood industry, aiming to explore the road to common development through collective cooperation and open up new channels for rapid realization of cash. They will provide farmers with solutions to the difficulty of agarwood tree incense, help sales enterprises to expand supply and marketing channels, and provide business cooperation and promotion opportunities for participants.

"We will organize member units of Hainan Agarwood Industry Federation to actively participate in and participate in the exhibition, and also invite domestic and international buyers to purchase. Provincial industry associations actively participate in the exhibition, and hold industry seminars to provide new ideas and new views for the development of Hainan Agarwood industry. We will use the platform to introduce the status quo of the agarwood industry in Tunchang, and welcome entrepreneurs to invest in Tunchang." Hu Yanming, president of the Agarwood Industry Association of Tunchang County, said that the agarwood industry in Tunchang County has gradually improved. In addition to bringing agarwood leaf wine, agarwood leaf tea, moxibustion sticks and other popular products, they will also participate in a number of forums to actively promote the resources of the agarwood industry in Tunchang.

The relevant person in charge of the organizing committee of the 2024 Agarwood Huali International Conference introduced that the conference has a high degree of specialization, and they will hold a number of sub-forums, and a number of scientific research institutions will release the research results of the Agarwood industry with the help of the platform.

"Our center mainly studies the history and culture of Hainan Agarwood, inherits the intangible cultural heritage, and promotes the development of Hainan incense culture." The forum will invite well-known experts at home and abroad to share their views on the current situation and future development trend of agarwood medicine and health industry, and also organize industry leaders, entrepreneurs and scholars to discuss the innovative development of agarwood medicine and health industry in depth.
