Qixianling Global Tropical Fruit Expo Center was newly unveiled

On December 28, Qixianling Global Tropical Fruit Expo Center (hereinafter referred to as Fruit Expo Center), located in Baocheng town, Li and Miao Autonomous County, Baoting, was newly unveiled.

It is understood that the Fruit Expo Center is jointly built by the Provincial Reclamation Investment Holding Group Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Hainan Reclamation Group) and Baoting, the project covers an area of 30,000 mu, divided into three phases of development and construction, the first phase of the planning area of 1053 mu; The second phase of the planning area of about 4000 mu, for the introduction of planting demonstration area and tourism facilities; The planning area of the third phase is about 26,000 mu, which is an area for promoting planting and expanding. Up to now, the project has basically completed the first phase of the core area of 246 acres of construction tasks.

Since May this year, the Fruit Expo Center has continued to optimize the functions of the park. Hainan Nanfan Seed Industry Group strives to strengthen the seed, and carries out large-scale transformation and upgrading with the overall goal of building "flower orchards that can popularize science, travel, study, see, feel and appreciate". After the renovation, 85 tropical fruit tree species and 450 varieties have been newly collected in the park, including many rare and precious tropical fruits. In addition, the Fruit Expo Center has also built 58 mu of durian germplasm resources nursery and 619 mu of passion fruit base, providing a solid foundation for the cultivation and research of tropical fruits.

It is understood that Hainan Agricultural Reclamation Group will continue to expand the industrial chain. In addition to the existing display and breeding functions, they will also further develop tropical fruit-related deep processing products, such as specialty dried fruit, juice, fruit wine, etc., to enhance the added value of products.
