Hainan new energy enterprises layout overseas lithium battery industry

Recently, "People work together to win, create the future with lithium" international strategic cooperation signing ceremony was held in Haikou. Hainan Xingzhe New Material Technology Co., Ltd. signed contracts with Argentina Chaoa mining Company, Argentina La Rioja Province Salaya Electrical Company, Canada Super Lithium Co., LTD., to reach lithium new energy and other industry related cooperation.

According to the cooperation agreement, Hainan Xingzhe New Material Technology Co., Ltd. will carry out strategic cooperation with Argentina's La Rioja Province Salaya Electric Company on local energy, comprehensive utilization of water resources and other fields of wind energy storage, hydropower development and other projects, and comprehensively promote the in-depth cooperation between La Rioja province and Hainan Province in agriculture and deep processing of agricultural products. Hainan Xingzhe New Material Technology Co., Ltd. also reached a strategic cooperation with Argentina Chaoa Mining company on mineral resource development. They have reached strategic cooperation with Canada Super Lithium Co., Ltd. on the international application of lithium technology and the local industrialization of new energy materials.

The person in charge of Hainan Xingzhe New Material Technology Co., Ltd. said that the company will rely on the rich lithium, gold and copper mineral resources in La Rioja province to jointly develop efficient and environmentally friendly lithium resource extraction projects, optimize the industrial chain layout, build a new energy equipment manufacturing base, and promote the docking of Hainan free trade port policy with the industrial advantages of La Rioja province.

It is understood that Hainan Xingzhe New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is a new energy materials technology enterprise with the research and development, production and sales of battery-grade lithium carbonate as the core, and has invested in the construction of battery-grade lithium carbonate new technology research and development innovation base project in Changjiang. The project covers a total area of 889 mu, fixed assets investment of 3.055 billion yuan, plans to build an annual capacity of 80,000 tons of lithium carbonate production line within 5 years. Among them, the first phase of the project to build 10,000 tons of lithium carbonate production capacity, construction in December 2023, is expected to be completed and put into operation in October this year.
