The 2025 Round-the-Island race will be held in April

Recently, the reporter learned from the organizing committee of the 16th Tour of Hainan Island International Road Cycling Race 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the 2025 Island Race) that the 2025 Island race will be held from April 7 to 11. The UCI Asia Professional Series will feature 20 teams from around the world, with a total prize pool of $150,000.

The race consists of 5 race days and 5 stages, with a total mileage of 853.59 km. The competition route fully reflects the latest achievements of the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, fully displays the coastal scenery of Hainan Island Tour Road and the ecological scenery of the rainforest mountain of the Tour road around the Tropical Forest National Park, and plans and designs the race route in combination with the competition requirements of different features such as flat road, hills, mountains and coastal stages.

The five stages are the first stage (April 7) in Qionghai (90.34 km). The second stage (April 8) is between Qionghai and Lingshui (178.1 km). The third stage (April 9) is between Lingshui and Baoting (212.6 km). The fourth stage (April 10) is between Baoting and Dongfang (190.8 km).
