The new energy vehicle mass testing Island Tour will be held during the Consumer Goods Expo

On April 2nd, it was learned from the organizing committee of the 5th China International Consumer Goods Expo that the "2025 New Energy Vehicle Mass Testing Island Tour", one of the featured events of the 5th Consumer Goods Expo, will hold its departure ceremony at the Yanuoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Area in Hainan on April 12th.

The theme of this event is "Wandering Through Mountains and Seas, Traveling Together". They will invite mainstream new energy vehicle brands at home and abroad to bring about 50 new models to tour the Hainan Island Tourist Road and the Tourist Road around the Tropical Rainforest National Park. Let people experience the tropical island coastal scenery and unique cultural customs, and explore the new realm of intelligent driving and "vehicle-road-cloud integration" scenarios in Hainan.

The event is divided into a tourism experience stage and an intelligent driving test stage. They will all depart from the Yanuoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Area in Hainan and arrive in Haikou on April 13th. They will hold the closing ceremony at the seaside viewing platform of the West Coast Belt Park in Haikou.

The tour experience stage team will mainly follow the western route of Hainan Island, visiting Sanya International Duty-Free City and Banshan Peninsula Sailing Port, Changjiang Rainbow Road and Shayutang Village Sunset Viewing Scenic Area, Danzhou Haihua Island, Lingao Cape, and Chengmai Fushan Coffee Culture Town. This stage integrates a variety of activities such as fun self-driving, yacht experiences, red culture, and trunk markets, with a total distance of approximately 530 kilometers. More than 30 latest models from well-known domestic and international automotive brands such as Tank, BYD, Harmony lntelligent Mobility Alliance, Xiaomi, XPeng, Tesla and NIO will be showcased, presenting the cutting-edge technological levels of new energy vehicles through various forms including intelligent driving tests, range tests and dynamic test drives.

The team of the intelligent driving test stage will mainly follow the eastern route of Hainan Island, visiting the Qixianling Hot Spring National Forest Park in Baoting, the Hainan Automobile Test Field in Qionghai, the Stone Park in Wenchang, Tongguling and the Aerospace City. And they will conduct tests on the intelligent connected vehicle test section in Haikou Jiangdong New Area. Through a dynamic road test with a total length of 450 kilometers, the capabilities of the intelligent driving system, such as precise perception, real-time decision-making, stable execution, and safety guarantee, were verified in various complex road traffic environments.

This event is jointly organized by the Hainan International Economic Development Bureau, the Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Provincial Department of Commerce, and is hosted by Hainan Transportation Investment Holding Co., LTD., Hainan Expressway Co., LTD., and Dongchedi.
