Direct Flights Between Haikou and London Launched

Hainan Airlines flight HU7911 departed from Haikou Meilan International Airport in south China’s Hainan Province for London, the capital city of the United Kingdom, at 14:11 on May 7, marking the official launch of the direct international route between Haikou and London.

This is the first direct international route operated by Hainan Airlines between Haikou and London. The new connection is expected to further promote tourism cooperation and economic exchanges between the two destinations, bringing fresh momentum to the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Adding to the convenience for travelers from Europe is Hainan's visa-free entry policy for travelers from 59 countries, which was expanded on February 9, 2024. Visitors who enter Hainan for tourism, business, family visits, medical treatment, exhibitions, or sports competitions can stay visa-free in the province for up to 30 days.
