Riyue Bay, a half-moon shaped bay, is known as the surf capital of China. With clear waters, white sandy beaches, and pleasant temperatures all year round, Riyue Bay boasts excellent surfing conditions, and has hosted tons of major Chinese and international surfing events. It’s also the year-round training base for China’s national surfing team, and one of the most popular surfing destinations in the country.

As surfing becomes more popular, everyone is flocking to Wanning, Hainan to learn to surf. With surfboards weaving in and out of the waves, the surfers ride the waves, floating between the blue of the sea and sky. Strolling along the long coastline, soft white sandy coast, watching the waves roll up the bay, and enjoying the beautiful ocean views, visiting Riyue Bay is an experience to remember.
