The Feng Xiaogang Movie Town, a distinctive film-themed park, is a joint venture funded by Mission Hills, Feng Xiaogang, a renowned Chinese director, and Huayi Brothers Media Corporation, a privately-owned film studio in China.

The town has served as the filming locations of many films and television programs. Now, it has become a new landmark of cultural tourism in Hainan.

The Feng Xiaogang Movie Town consists of six independent scenic spots, offering a panoramic recreation of urban landscapes, neighborhood scenes, architectural styles, and folk traditions from the past hundred years across two major regions of China — the Yangtze River basin, the Yellow River basin, and the Pearl River basin.

Visitors can dress up in period costumes and have professional photos taken against the historically accurate backdrops of various streets.

The area is alive with a diverse mix of cinemas, coffee houses, bars, boutique hotels, and other catering, entertainment, and shopping options – each with its own unique character. Here, you can enjoy unforgettable movie scenes, a strong nostalgic atmosphere, and a tourist commercial street that transforms from day to night.
