Binglanggu Li and Miao Cultural Heritage Park, also known as Betelnut Valley, is situated in a nature reserve between Sanya and Baoting county. The heritage park covers about 333 hectares and attracts over 1.2 million tourists annually.
Named Betelnut Valley for its ancient betelnut trees, Binglanggu is a multicultural tourist spot offering sightseeing, cultural experiences, carnivals and recreational activities, including a grand Li and Miao cultural performance.

Visitors can appreciate folk customs, dance to ethnic melodies, enjoy ethnic foods and experience traditional lodging. Binglanggu stands as the only tourist resort in Hainan with the theme of primitive and ecological ethnic culture, making a great contribution to the preservation and promotion of local cultural heritage.
The park also exhibits numerous intangible cultural items, with some even recognized on UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage, making it a living museum dedicated to preserving Hainan’s vibrant ethnic culture.
