Covering 108 square kilometers, Haikou Shishan Volcanic Cluster National Geopark is located south of the Qiongzhou Strait and north of Haikou city. The park mainly features volcanic landforms, with a total of 40 volcanoes.

In addition, it has rich volcanic lava landscapes, unique volcanic lava tunnel landscapes and pyroclastic rock profiles of great scientific research value, making it a prominent representative of the Quaternary volcanic belt in China.
