Xie Jing

Xie Jing, female, Han ethnicity, was born in September 1966. She holds an in-service postgraduate degree and is a member of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party. She is currently the vice-governor of the Hainan Provincial People's Government, chairwoman of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party.

Duties:

Xie is in charge of work related to areas, including tourism, culture, sports, science and technology, education, health, healthcare security, and drug supervision.

She oversees the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, the Hainan Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Hainan Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs), the Hainan Provincial Department of Education, the Hainan Provincial Health Commission, the Hainan Provincial Healthcare Security Bureau, the Hainan Provincial Medical Products Administration, and the Hainan Provincial Disease Control and Prevention Administration. In addition, she supervises the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration and the Lingshui Li'an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone Administration.

She also maintains communication with the Hainan Provincial Federation of Social Sciences (Hainan Provincial Academy of Social Sciences), the Hainan Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the Hainan Provincial Writers Association, the Hainan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Hainan Provincial Disabled Persons' Federation, and the Hainan Red Cross Society.
