(I) Recruitment subject: French

1. French subject leader: 1 person
Candidates should hold a doctorate degree and a professorial title, demonstrate profound disciplinary knowledge and a broad academic perspective with significant achievements attained in scientific research. Candidates should be under 50 years old generally, but exceptions can be made for those with exceptionally outstanding accomplishments.

2. French academic leader: 1 person
Candidates should hold a doctorate degree and a senior professional title and be capable of teaching core courses. Influential academic achievements and strong team leadership and organizational skills are required. Candidates should be under 45 years old generally, but exceptions can be made for those with exceptionally outstanding accomplishments.

(III) Job benefits
1. Teachers in teaching and research positions will enjoy benefits in line with the university standards according to the four-tier talent grading system, as detailed in the table below. Outstanding PhD holders with work experience at overseas universities, research institutions or renowned corporate R&D centers may apply for the corresponding talent tiers and benefits, based on their academic achievements and research potential. For premium foreign talent, an annual salary system can be adopted for remuneration.

2. Those with outstanding research capabilities or significant achievements in their professional field may have their salaries determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on their research performance over the last five years and the work objectives during the appointment period. Their salaries will be decided by the school's special recruitment committee.

3. Outstanding scholars with strong research abilities may apply for direct recognition of senior professional titles upon joining the school, as determined by the school's special recruitment committee.

4. Enjoy salaries and benefits according to the national and Hainan provincial government regulations for public institution employees.

5. Relevant support benefits for premium talent recruitment in Hainan province (subject to the latest policies of Hainan province):
(1) Housing: Individuals may apply for a rent-free, fully furnished talent apartment up to 150/180/200 square meters upon their official arrival and be recognized as a talent in Category C or above, according to the talent grading system of Hainan province. After working full-time for five years, the government will grant the employees 80 percent ownership of the property and after eight years, 100 percent ownership. Those identified as talent in Category D and E can apply for a monthly rental subsidy or house purchase subsidy of 5,000 yuan and 3,000 yuan, respectively. The subsidies will be issued for no more than three years.

(2) Individuals working full-time as a talent in Category C or above will enjoy an annual commercial health insurance worth over 6,000 yuan and annual health check-up services offered by the Hainan provincial government.

(3) Individuals in other talent categories will enjoy corresponding benefits, including household registration support, education for children, employment assistance for spouses and healthcare security services.

Must have been elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences or the Chinese Academy of Engineering, or possess equivalent qualifications.

(1) Basic requirements:
Must have been selected for a national-level youth talent program; or serve as the principal investigator of a national key project; or possess equivalent qualifications.

4. Fourth tier:
(1) Basic requirements:
Demonstrate strong academic capability with influential and representative achievements in their field, show potential to sustain or advance their subject to a leading national level. Experience in organizing and planning national-level research projects is required. Candidates should play a pivotal role in the subject’s development and in talent cultivation.
(2) Relocation allowance (yuan): 400,000 yuan
