The ASEAN International Student Scholarship has been established by Hainan Tropical Ocean University to support outstanding students from ASEAN countries.

The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation fees and comprehensive medical insurance. Other expenses shall be borne by the students themselves.

The ASEAN International Student Scholarship is open only to students from ASEAN countries. Applicants from other countries are not eligible.

Applicants must be students pursuing a bachelor’s degree only. Master’s students and language (non—degree) students are not eligible.

Applicants must first pass the Chinese Government Chinese Proficiency Test Level 4 (HSK4) and obtain the HSK4 certificate before applying for the scholarship.

Scholarship recipients may not simultaneously receive other Chinese government scholarships.

The application period is from January to June each year.
