University of Sanya is located in Sanya, Hainan Province. It is one of the top-ranking comprehensive private universities in China. The university offers a wide range of disciplines with strong overall advantages. It consists of 25 secondary colleges and 32 research institutes, offering 61 undergraduate programs (including specializations) and 10 master's programs across nine academic fields: law, literature, economics, management, engineering, science, agriculture, education, and more. The university has over 25,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

The campus spans 3,000 mu (approximately 200 hectares) and features a beautiful environment. It is equipped with multiple experimental centers, an arts center, a library, a swimming pool, a sports stadium, and basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts. Additionally, the university provides various facilities such as a hospital, a cinema, supermarkets, convenience stores, student dining halls, food marts, a post office, a courier station, and a printing center.

Since 2011, University of Sanya has been enrolling international students, offering both undergraduate and master's degree programs as well as Chinese language training programs. Over the years, it has welcomed students from more than 10 countries, including Russia, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Nepal, Burundi, and Ghana.
