With the combination of Hainan's 59-country visa-free entry policy, China's mutual visa exemption agreements and China's unilateral visa-free policy, people from 86 countries can now visit Hainan without a visa.

As China continues to optimize its visa-free entry policies, the door to the Hainan Free Trade Port is opening ever wider. This will further strengthen Hainan's connections with the world and significantly boost business, cultural and tourism exchanges between Hainan and the related countries, contributing to the high-quality development of the Free Trade Port.

Appendix: Countries eligible for visa-free entry to Hainan

Countires eligible for 30-day visa-free entry to Hainan for tourism, business, exchanges and family visits, medical treatment, exhibitions, or sports competitions (excluding work and study):

Albania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Countries with bilateral visa-exemption agreements not included in the above countries:
