According to the National Immigration Administration (NIA), starting July 30, 2024, people from countries that have diplomatic relations with China can visit Hainan for up to 144 hours visa-free. They must join a tour group of at least two people organized by a travel agency registered in Hong Kong or Macao.

Tour groups must enter and exit together through any open port in Hainan province, and their activities must be confined to the administrative region of Hainan. The 144-hour stay is calculated from midnight on the day of entry.

Airports:
• Haikou Meilan International Airport
• Sanya Phoenix International Airport
• Qionghai Boao International Airport

Seaports:
• Yangpu Port
• Haikou Port
• Qinglan Port
• Basuo Port
• Sanya Port

Note: In case of any discrepancies, the Chinese version of visa policy issued by the immigration authority shall prevail.
