Hainan Free Trade Port Resort Software Community serves as a vital center for Hainan's digital economy development and a pioneering experimental zone for the FTP. As a nationally accredited technology incubator and among China's first digital service export bases, it has attracted industry leaders including Tencent, Baidu, Huawei, and ByteDance. The community provides complete professional support services while fostering talent development, having established itself as a self-contained "micro-city" that seamlessly combines workspaces with residential, educational, commercial, and recreational facilities.

Hainan Free Trade Port Resort Software Community is advancing the construction of the Hainan FTP in the digital era by fostering a data-driven digital economy. It is building a "3+2+1" industrial ecosystem — developing three key clusters in digital health, digital entertainment, and shared platform economy, establishing two international hubs for the aerospace information industry and independent computing, and creating a center for innovation in digital finance.

The community hosts two major industry clusters: the Digital Culture and Sports Village, which focuses on gaming, e-sports, intellectual sports, and livestreaming, and the Digital Health Eco-village, which centers on pharmaceutical e-commerce, digital supply chains, online hospitals, digital healthcare, digital therapeutics, and health finance.

Industry Focus

1. Blockchain
In October 2018, the government awarded a license to establish a blockchain pilot zone in Hainan FTP. Key players such as Cloudsea Chain and the Oxford-Hainan Blockchain Research Institute (OxHainan) have already established a presence.

2. Digital health
The park is home to over 1,200 enterprises spanning the full digital health value chain — from pharmaceutical e-commerce and digital supply chains to online healthcare and health finance. Major companies including Ali Health, Harbin Pharmaceutical Group, Fosun Pharma, and AstraZeneca have already set up operations.

3. Digital culture and sports
More than 1,800 leading game companies have settled in the park. Leveraging the policies of the FTP, the park supports both the export of domestic games and the import of international titles. Notable names include Tencent, IGG, Century Huatong, Lilith, 37 Interactive Entertainment, and Perfect World.

4. Digital finance
The focus is on building a digital finance innovation area. Leading companies and industrial investment funds in the direction of financial technology, Internet finance and financial services are being attracted to the area. Shiva, Evolutionary Capital and Century Frontier have already moved in.
