This guide provides essential information to enterprises in Hainan on applying for a safety production qualification certificate for principal responsible persons and safety production management personnel of non-coal mining, hazardous chemicals, fireworks and firecrackers, and metal smelting production and business units.

Basic requirements
The applicant shall satisfy the conditions for obtaining a safety production qualification certificate as stipulated in the Regulations on the Management of Safety Production Training, including:

1. Principal responsible persons and safety production management personnel of non-coal mining, hazardous chemicals, fireworks and firecrackers, and metal smelting production and business units shall complete safety qualification training of no less than 48 hours.

2. Principal responsible persons and safety production management personnel shall complete annual refresher training of no less than 16 hours.

3. Applicants shall pass the prescribed safety qualifications assessment following completion of the required training.
