This guide provides essential information to institutions in Hainan on applying for filing of records as an ecological and environmental monitoring technical service institution.

Basic requirements
The institution shall: (1) be legally established and capable of assuming corresponding legal responsibilities; (2) have obtained a valid Measurement Certification issued by the competent provincial authority for market regulation or quality supervision; (3) employ professional technical personnel and management personnel appropriate for the ecological and environmental monitoring services it undertakes; (4) possess testing instruments and equipment that comply with relevant standards and technical specifications; (5) maintain fixed monitoring and office premises, with working environments and management systems that comply with relevant laws, regulations and technical requirements; (6) satisfy any additional requirements stipulated by relevant laws, regulations, standards or technical specifications.
