This guide provides essential information to foreign individuals and organizations in Hainan on applying for approval for changes to approved field surveys of, or filming and video recording activities involving nationally protected terrestrial wildlife.

Basic requirements
The proposed changes shall relate to activities previously approved for foreigners to conduct field surveys of nationally protected terrestrial wildlife or to carry out filming and video recording activities in the wild in Hainan province.

Required materials
1. Application form for administrative licensing matters relating to wildlife conservation and management;
2. Valid identification documents of the applicant and any entrusted agent;
3. Valid supporting documents evidencing the identity and qualifications of the foreign applicant;
4. Valid supporting documents, including cooperation agreements, relating to field surveys, filming or video recording activities;
5. Description of the proposed changes and implementation plan;
6. Original administrative approval decision.
