This guide provides essential information to foreign cultural and artistic professionals or technical personnel — as well as for those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan — on applying for approval for visits, study tours and project collaborations in China.

Basic requirements
The proposed visits, inspections or project collaborations shall be conducted for the purpose of cultural exchanges and involve foreign cultural and artistic professionals or technical personnel.

Required materials
1. Written application;
2. Itinerary for the visit or inspection;
3. List of personnel;
4. Letter of intent for a performance or exhibition agreement;
5. Invitation letter.
