This guide provides essential information to enterprises on applying for a review of safety conditions for hazardous chemicals construction projects.

Basic requirements
Applicants shall comply with the requirements set out in the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Safety of Hazardous Chemical Construction Projects.

During the feasibility study stage of the construction project, the construction entity shall engage a safety evaluation institution possessing the qualifications required by the state to conduct a safety evaluation of the project.

The safety evaluation institution shall carry out the safety evaluation in accordance with applicable production safety laws, regulations, rules, national standards and industry standards, and issue a safety evaluation report for the construction project.

The safety evaluation report shall comply with the requirements set out in the Detailed Rules for Safety Evaluation of Hazardous Chemical Construction Projects.

Required materials
1. Application form and related documents for review of safety conditions of the hazardous chemicals construction project;
2. Safety evaluation report for the construction project;
3. Approval, verification or record filing documents for the construction project, together with relevant planning documents;
4. Business license of the enterprise or pre-approval notice for the enterprise name.
