This guide provides essential information to foreign individuals and organizations in Hainan on applying for first-time approval to conduct field surveys of nationally protected terrestrial wildlife or to carry out filming and video recording activities in the wild.

Basic requirements
Approval shall be obtained for foreigners conducting field surveys of nationally protected terrestrial wildlife or carrying out filming and video recording activities in the wild in Hainan province.

Required materials
1. Application form for administrative licensing of wildlife conservation and management;
2. Valid identity documents or supporting materials for the applicant and any entrusted agent;
3. Valid documents proving the identity and qualifications of the foreign applicant;
4. Valid supporting documents, including cooperation agreements for conducting field surveys, filming or video recording activities in the wild;
5. Implementation plan.
