Hainan's 30-day visa-free entry policy for 59 countries

With the approval of the State Council, starting from February 9, 2024, people holding ordinary passports from 59 eligible countries can visit Hainan visa-free for up to 30 days.

The 59 eligible countries are:
Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Norway, Ukraine, Italy, Austria, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, United Arab States Individuals from countries such as the UAE, Qatar, Monaco and Belarus.

• Haikou Meilan International Airport
• Sanya Phoenix International Airport
• Qionghai Boao International Airport

Seaports:
• Yangpu Port
• Haikou Port
• Qinglan Port
• Basuo Port
• Sanya Port

The scope of activities is within the administrative region of Hainan province (in accordance with the provisions of the visa exemption agreement signed with China), and the calculation of stay time starts from midnight on the day of entry.

Note: In case of any discrepancies, the Chinese version of visa policy issued by the immigration authority shall prevail.
