A: Foreign nationals approved to work in Hainan province can now conveniently access their work permit information through a newly launched digital service. By downloading the official Electronic Social Security Card (e-SSCard) app and completing real-name authentication, users can receive a digital card that includes their work permit details.
The new system allows foreign workers to check their work permit status directly via the app, eliminating the need to carry a physical document. In addition to streamlined access to work-related credentials, holders of the electronic social security card can also enjoy China's integrated "one-card" social service system, which offers a wide range of public services.
This digital upgrade aims to enhance the convenience, efficiency and user experience for foreigners living and working in Hainan.
