Raised in Hele town, Wanning, a county-level city in Hainan province, Hele crab has rich, meaty flesh rarely found in other species. It is renowned for its golden yellow fat, resembling the rich hue of a salted duck egg yolk, with a fragrant aroma and rich nutritional content.
