The "China Yangpu Port" registry port has registered 30 international ships
The total tonnage of registered international ships in the province has jumped to the top three in the country


In 2021, the number of registered international ships in the "China Yangpu Port" registry port has reached 30, and the total tonnage of registered international ships in Hainan Province has increased from 670,000 before 2018 to 5.5 million today, ranking among the top three in the country. This is what a reporter from Hainan Daily learned from the 2022 work conference of the Hainan Maritime Safety Administration held on January 18.

It is understood that in 2021, Hainan Maritime Safety Administration has deepened the three-year special rectification of safety production and focused on tackling the key points. A total of 98 systematic and regional hidden dangers have been investigated, and 74 rectifications have been completed.They inspected more than 9,100 ships on site, found more than 3,800 defects, organized 1,889 water cruises, 3,838 hours, and 27,700 nautical miles, and supervised 7,922 dangerous cargo ships with 55.02 million tons of cargo. They have carried out in-depth special governance such as "commercial and fishery co-governance 2021" and "three no" ships, inland river vessels' illegal sea-related transportation, and water radio order management, and investigated and dealt with 186 water radio violations.

In 2021, the Hainan Maritime Safety Administration issued the supporting work regulations, service guidelines and format texts for the international ship registration of the free trade port, and completed the registration of the first "zero-tariff" imported ship. And the 18 capital-increased ro-ro passenger ships on the south bank of the Qiongzhou Strait have achieved "non-stop sailing and certification". A total of 36,000 government affairs were handled throughout the year, and the overall settlement time was shortened by an average of 84%. They have deepened the maritime facilitation supervision measures for ship bonded oil, and supervised 420 bonded oil bunkering operations, with a bunkering volume of 217,500 tons, an increase of 158% and 113% respectively year-on-year.
