Hainan tourism culture promotion activities into the UAE

On April 8, local time, a delegation from the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, Radio, Television and Sports went to the United Arab Emirates and held a tourism and cultural promotion activity with Hainan characteristics in ABU Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

With the theme of "Sunny Hainan, holiday Paradise", the event aims to showcase the new image and unique tropical flavor of Hainan Free Trade Port construction, while seeking deep cooperation with the UAE in the field of tourism to jointly promote the prosperity and development of tourism between the two places.

The atmosphere at the event was warm, and representatives from all walks of life showed a strong interest in Hainan's tourism resources and cultural heritage. In the promotion session, an attractive Hainan tourism promotional film led the guests to feel as if they were in the beautiful Hainan Island, Hainan sunshine, sand, waves and other charming scenery as well as the colorful Hainan culture.

Li Xiaodong, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, said in his speech that the UAE has become an important source of inbound tourists for Hainan Province, especially after Hainan Airlines opened routes from ABU Dhabi to Haikou at the beginning of this year, sending a large number of international tourists to Hainan. As a world-renowned tourist destination, the UAE is rich in tourism, aviation, exhibition and other resources, and deepening tourism cooperation with Hainan can be described as a strong alliance, and will achieve the effect of "1+1>2".

Liu Cheng, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, said that on January 30 this year, the direct flight between Hainan Haikou and ABU Dhabi was opened, which ushered in a new chapter for the tourism exchanges between the two places, and the preferential policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port provided a strong support and driving force for the development of tourism. The "59 countries visa-free" policy expands the implementation of visa-free items, providing a more convenient way for overseas tourists to enter the country, and the application of "Hainan Assured Payment" will provide a convenient payment method for overseas tourists. The ABU Dhabi Station's tourism and cultural exchange activities aim to show Hainan's expanding opening to the outside world and seek to deepen long-term cooperation with the UAE's tourism and cultural industry.

At the event, Hainan Kangtai Tourism Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with local well-known tourism enterprises Kanoo Travel and Rayna Tours, and carried out in-depth exchanges on issues such as direct flights between the two places, mutual delivery of tourists, and the development of cultural tourism industry.
