Visit Tianya Haijiao free of charge starting June 1!

Starting June 1, entry to Sanya’s Tianya Haijiao park (also known as The End of the Earth) will be free of charge for all visitors. The coastal park joins the list of several other Sanya area attractions including Luhuitou and Dongtian Park, which already offer free entry for all.

Tianya Haijiao, located 23 km. southwest of downtown Sanya, is known for sweeping tropical coastal views as well as a long, unique history and local culture. Here, the lush green mountains dip their toes in the deep blue sea, and the white sands, giant rocks, and jagged reefs together create a landscape that resembles nothing more than a traditional Chinese ink painting. Palm groves stand sentinel above the waves, fishing boats bob on the water, and seagulls and swallows flit in and out of the fluffy clouds, their cries blending on the wind into the music of the southern shore.

Currently, Tianya Haijiao is working to become a 5A level attraction, accelerating infrastructure upgrades and service level standardization so that all visitors can enjoy themselves to the fullest.

Starting June 1, visitors can book “free tickets” to Tianya Haijiao on WeChat, Meituan, Alipay, and other platforms in advance of their visit, then enter the park with a passport or other forms of valid ID.
